India is one of the biggest markets for china to do the business. Till now china doing a billion dollars of business in India. But due to conflict between India & China, India has taken some decisions against china. One is Boycott chinese products & second is ban on chinese apps.
On Monday (29/06/2020), Gov. of India banned 59 Chinese app in India due to conflict between India & China in the Ladakh area and COVID 19 pandemic. As per section 69A, an act of Information Technology Rule 2009, considering these 59 apps are a threat to the defense of India, integrity of India, for information security of each & every person of India. According to news from the sources, Chinese android apps are doing misuse of the customers’ information & stealing the user’s data in unauthorized manners.There are some other countries like Taiwan that also banned some Chinese apps. Other countries also have to ban Chinese apps & products.
Very soon, users will see the message while opening the Chinese app that this service is restricted at this time. Also, new users are not allowed to install these apps. Instructions regarding this are given to the Internet Service provider by the Government of India.
